Telework Program Implementation and Administration:
Those who telework can be more
productive than sitting in the office, according to a study released by the
National Science Foundation in March of 2008.
Less vehicles on the roads commuting to
work results in a reduction of: the
need for new roads, increasing the capacity of existing roads, maintenance of
existing roads and toxic gas emissions.
With other small to mid-sized
businesses trying to get in on “green” initiatives – teleworking is the
answer. But where do I start, you are asking. How do I set up a program that is both cost effective and
high producing? Many states may
actually provide tax incentives to businesses that have even a small percentage
of teleworkers.
With more individuals owning their own
laptops and having Internet access, small and mid-sized businesses may find that
setting up a telework situation isn’t as expensive as they had feared.
The main investment from employers is time.
Time to develop the program and time to administer the program can cost
you without our help.
Let us help you review your options,
select the best plan for your situation and implement a program that will save
you money, save the planet (even just a little bit) and keep your employees
productive and happy.
